Job summary

Opportune is seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager for its Complex Financial Reporting and Transaction Advisory practices. The consultant will focus on leading accounting/finance projects: technical accounting; complex financial and SEC reporting issues for private and public companies; IPO readiness and execution; due diligence; and financial analytics.

Our professionals often participate in business transformation, restructuring, and valuation projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) & problem-solving skills to interact with clients and project teams
• Highly motivated with a goal-oriented personality
• Strong research and analytical skills
• History of achievement in school and work
• Audit or consulting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting/finance projects including technical accounting and complex financial reporting
• Address SEC reporting issues for private and public companies, IPO readiness and execution
• Perform due diligence and financial analytics for engagements
• Participate in business transformation, restructuring and valuation projects
