Based on the nature of a case, the candidate may perform these duties and tasks independently or may collaborate with other consultants, technologists, and support staff.
  • Network internally and work collaboratively to contribute to projects managed by other consultants within ESi. Collaborate with other project staff to plan and complete project work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of tasks.
  • Confidently communicate with clients or potential clients to prepare or review project proposals or plans to determine the required tasks, schedule, budget, and procedures for accomplishing project objectives.
  • Provide recommendations to clients, potential clients, and the Civil / Structural Practice Director to accept or decline potential new projects based on their professional training, expertise, and business experience. During the execution of a project, recommend increases or decreases in the scope of ESi's work as appropriate.
  • Provide testimony in deposition and/or at trial as an expert witness or assist in supporting another expert to testify.
  • Perform work adhering to all ESi best practices and QA/QC procedures. Contribute to the QA/QC process by reviewing the work of other colleagues in the Civil / Structural Practice.
