Job summary

Plaster Group LLC in Seattle is looking for an Agile Consultant with at least 10 years of relevant experience and a strong background in Agile methodologies. Responsibilities include training team members, developing Agile strategies, and coaching teams for improved effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will a strong background with Agile practices and methods. Demonstrated passion for process improvement, organizational development, cultural change, conflict management, and both individual and team coaching. Candidates should have proven experience working across all levels of organization including senior leadership.

Responsibilities/Activities
  • Train team members on Agile practices and methodologies.
  • Understand client goals and assist in developing an Agile strategy.
  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile practices to improve product flow.
  • Improve delivery team effectiveness through analysis, teaching, facilitation, and impediment removal.
  • Provide strong mentorship, focus on team members and continuous improvement. Create an environment that allows for meaningful collaboration.
  • Assess Agile maturity of teams and coach to higher level of maturity at a sustainable pace.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to address Agile knowledge gaps and support Agile effectiveness.
  • Help product owner write user stories as needed.
  • Assist teams in estimating user stories.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field.
  • Must be physically located in the Greater Seattle area.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner required.
  • Agile certifications preferred.
  • Past experience implementing Agile techniques in different cultures and environments.
  • Successful leadership of Agile initiatives of varying size and complexities.
  • Strong skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
  • Knowledge of different Agile approaches including Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques (User Stories, Estimation, ATDD, TDD, CI/CD, Pairing, Agile Games).

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Positive attitude in challenging environments.
  • Driven to produce a quality product and goal oriented.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is from $140,000 - $170,000 depending on overall skillset and experience.
