Latitude Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assistant General Counsel Construction Transactions for an onsite, permanent in-house role in Houston, TX. You will lead a small team of attorneys and handle high-stakes drafting and negotiations across EPC and construction agreements.

You will advise on large capital projects, manage risk, and collaborate with project, commercial, engineering and finance teams to align legal strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating high dollar supply chain and procurement transactions for major projects.
• Executive presence to lead a team of attorneys and collaborate with business leaders.
• Relocation to Texas may be considered for top candidates.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor two attorneys, set standards across the group’s commercial work.
• Draft and negotiate EPC, construction, engineering, subcontract, equipment, services and supply agreements.
• Advise on major capital projects across construction, industrial, energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Manage risk allocation, change orders, pricing, scheduling impacts and claims avoidance on complex projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including project, commercial, engineering, finance and risk.
