Qualifications

• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing a variety of tools and equipment including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of Navy and OSHA maintenance and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical training in the installation, repair and maintenance of construction tools and equipment.
• Provide technical training in the installation, repair and maintenance of carpenter shop equipment, blade reconditioning equipment, portable power and hand tools.
• Provide instruction in preventive maintenance schedules and operating procedures for tool rooms.
• Perform other duties as needed.
