Job summary

Nisga'a MOSTT, LLC seeks an experienced Construction Electrician Advance Instructor to support the Naval Construction Training Center in Gulfport, MS. The role requires delivering advanced technical instruction for NEC-based installations, fiber optics, and power systems.

Responsibilities include teaching advanced wiring, splicing, testing, and maintenance, plus supervising electrical crews in peacetime and contingency operations. Prior teaching or mentoring experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Shall be skilled in the principles of electrical theory and related systems.
• Knowledge in techniques for joining power cable, splices, terminations, testing, and fault finding.
• Familiarity with fiber optic splicing and testing equipment such as OTDR and power meters.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced instruction on NEC-based wiring, cable installation, and equipment maintenance.
• Instruct on advanced base power plant operation and troubleshooting.
• Teach electrical crew supervision, safety, and contingency procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
