Location: Remote – United States

Salary: $100,000–$200,000 depending on experience

Travel: Occasional travel to major client sites across the US

About the Role

Our client is an innovative software company that has developed a specialist application for major contractors, MEP professionals and construction teams.

They are seeking a Senior Construction Technology Specialist who can bring real-world construction-site knowledge into the software environment. This person will work closely with major US clients, helping them adopt the platform, optimise how it is used and translate practical construction challenges into valuable software solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong mechanical or electrical engineering experience with an excellent understanding of construction technology and software.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the link between construction-site operations, customers and software teams.
• Work directly with contractors, MEP professionals, engineers and other end users.
• Help major clients implement and use the software effectively.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training and onsite support when required.
• Understand client workflows and identify opportunities to improve the platform.
• Translate construction and engineering requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and customer-facing teams.
• Provide industry insight to support product development and innovation.

Key Requirements

• Strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Significant experience within the construction industry.
• Practical experience working on construction sites and with MEP contractors.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, workflows and project delivery.
• Experience with construction technology or software platforms.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both construction and software teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
• BIM modelling and BIM-based construction workflows.
• Autodesk Revit or similar design and modelling tools.
• Understanding of software development or coding
• Experience with AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Previous experience supporting software implementation, adoption or customer training.
• Experience working with large contractors or major construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who is passionate about technology and wants to help bring the “site to software.” The salary is flexible for the right person, with a target range of $100,000–$140,000.
