Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; PLS certification asset.
• 7+ years of field construction survey experience with crew leadership.
• Proficiency with Trimble Access/Business Center.
• Proficiency with GPS, total stations, LiDAR, and data collection tools (drones).
• Prior experience as a Survey Manager in Construction Survey; advanced CAD/GIS proficiency.
• Dynamic thinker with leadership, safety, quality and productivity focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead/Manage surveying operations for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specs.
• Develop survey plans and schedules; collaborate with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Lead a team of surveyors, provide training and mentorship.
• Coordinate with project teams to align design intent with field execution.
• Utilize GPS, LiDAR, drones, and CAD tools to capture and analyze data.
• Conduct QC checks for survey accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Manage survey data processing and BIM integration.
• Prepare detailed survey reports and logs for records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot survey challenges on-site and adapt to conditions.
• Communicate with superintendents, engineers, and clients about scope and deliverables.
