Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) invites you to join the Charge Ready Senior Construction Specialist role within the TE initiative, focusing on design and construction support for EV charging services across the SCE territory. Qualifications

• Five or more years of Project Support experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power Bl, Microsoft SharePoint, and WorkIT.
• 3+ Experience supporting utility, infrastructure, construction, engineering, or transportation electrification projects.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong customer and stakeholder relationships, coordinate across cross-functional teams, manage risk and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Familiarity with service planning principles, construction standards, and collaborating with clients and management to develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supports the pre-construction/construction planning processes by crafting and supervising action items and leading project team member adherence; function as a subject matter expert for tool/system of record to help maintain data integrity.
• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary project teams which often consist of 30 or more members.
• Assists the project manager with all project-related tasks, such as progress reports, tracking metrics, schedules, and budgets; provides status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Establishes, presents, and applies project procedures, directives, and bulletins to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Utilizes project management tools and systems, including Microsoft Project, to maintain schedules.
• Crafts and maintains project documentation with version control and access control; analyzes data, identifies risks, and provides status reports.
• Develops presentations and other project documentation for review by management and executives; advances through project gates and stages.
• Independently manages project activities for complex projects with interdependencies; leads change management processes including change orders and modifications; maintains drawings and safety plans with version control.
• Protecting private data and ensuring cybersecurity integrity as part of all duties.
