Job summary

Milestone Contractors is seeking an experienced construction supervisor to lead a crew on heavy highway, bridge, asphalt, and concrete projects in Lafayette, IN.

You will plan manpower, manage safety, ensure quality, coordinate with project controls, and drive on-time performance while upholding company values.

Travel is primarily local during business days, with occasional out-of-area and overnight trips as needed to support project milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience leading crews in heavy highway construction (utility, pipe, earthwork, asphalt, concrete, or bridge).
• Supervisory responsibilities include assigning work, auditing dailies and timecards, and ensuring safety and quality.
• Knowledge of contract agreements, schedules, and coordination with project controls.

Responsibilities

• Directs craft employees and subcontractors to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Submits craft dailies and timecards, ensuring accuracy of information.
• Maintains safe work environment and conducts daily safety briefings.
• Coordinates with project manager for problem solving and schedule risks.
• Communicates work plan and progresses to supervisors and peers.
