Job summary

Turner Construction Company in the Bay Area is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to lead, direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors on a San Francisco project. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, and quality while keeping within budget, supervising Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, interns and trade labor.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years' related experience, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum five years of related experience.
• Experience using Primavera P6 for scheduling and planning is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels.
• Coordinate work among trades to ensure coordinated project operations.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and safety codes.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns.
• Create schedules and determine sequencing; develop recovery strategies to maintain schedule.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues; investigate and resolve.
