Jobot, a leading general contractor in the Greater Atlanta area, seeks a Superintendent to oversee all stages of the project life cycle from conception to completion on industrial construction projects. You will manage budgets, read blueprints, coordinate with subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and report progress to stakeholders while building strong client and team relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in industrial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and principles.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Budget and risk management experience.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Proficiency with construction software programs.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel as needed.
• OSHA safety training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from conception to completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets within financial parameters.
• Identify and mitigate risks with effective risk management strategies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to align work with design intent.
• Manage on-site operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and enforce safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Foster relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts to ensure smooth progress.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
