Job summary

Forge Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up multifamily and senior living projects. This senior field leadership role drives day-to-day site execution, upholds safety and quality, and coordinates all trades to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

This hands-on leader mentors field staff, oversees mobilization through turnover, and partners with the project manager to align field work with project goals, owner expectations, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role on multifamily or senior living projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering ground-up construction projects from $10M-$75M+ on time and within budget.
• OSHA 30-hour certification; valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Direct all on-site construction activities from mobilization through final punch list, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.
• Develop and drive the three-week look-ahead schedule with the project manager to protect critical path.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination to maintain productivity.
• Interpret drawings and codes; coordinate with the project management team to resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee site setup, temporary utilities, access, signage, and housekeeping for a safe, professional site.
