Job summary

Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent for multi-family projects in Monroe, MI. The role oversees all phases of construction, develops schedules, and enforces safety and site rules.

The Superintendent reports to Field Operations Coordinator and Project Executive, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to meet project milestones. Requires 8–10 years in construction, OSHA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor in CM preferred.
• 8–10 years construction experience required.
• OSHA certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight of day-to-day field activities.
• Prepare, update, and monitor project schedule from design to close out.
• Develop timelines and critical path scheduling.
• Track durations and ensure delays are managed.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to avoid delays in field activities.
• Schedule weekly subcontractor meetings and report progress to the team.
• Monitor actual vs required performance and address non-compliance.
• Resolve issues using drawings, scopes, and contract.
• Ensure reporting like daily logs, safety and compliance documents are transmitted.
• Maintain clean and organized job site at all times.
