Job summary

Woda Cooper seeks a Construction Superintendent for the Union Park Lofts project in Payson, AZ. You will oversee day-to-day field activities, manage schedules, ensure safety, coordinate subcontractors, and report to Field Operations Coordinator. Strong communication, blueprint reading, and scheduling skills are essential.

Minimum high school diploma, OSHA cert, 8–10 years in construction, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This employee-owned firm offers competitive wages and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of day-to-day field activities.
• Develop timelines and critical path scheduling; monitor project schedule to close out.
• Track submittals, lead times, and ensure project manager coordination doesn’t delay field activities.
• Inspect daily work for quality and scope compliance.
• Coordinate safety plans, field reports, and documentation (logs, SWP3, Davis-Bacon).
• Schedule weekly subcontractor meetings and report progress to the team.
• Identify non-compliant subcontractors or vendors and issue corrective actions.
• Assist in development of punch lists and turnover.
• Attend kickoff and turnover meetings; obtain feedback from the team.
