Job summary

Finfrock in Orlando is seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site field supervision of labor, subcontractors, and scheduling for large commercial projects. You will ensure quality and safety while coordinating with Project Managers and Owners to keep targets on track.

The role requires 5+ years of industry experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to read drawings and manage costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience managing $50M–$100M+ commercial projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Junior College or Vocational education preferred.
• OSHA certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Knowledge of Prolog.
• Strong reading of drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Good math and accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force including laborers/craft workers.
• Inspect contractor/subcontract operations to ensure contract compliance.
• Review and approve sub/trade contractor payment applications with the Project Manager.
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients including Architects, Engineers, and Owner/Client representatives.
• Develop and maintain site logistics plan with the Project Manager.
• Conduct quality inspections.
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
• Monitor costs including labor time and materials.
• Work with the in-house Safety team to enforce Safety and Health Management Program.
• Manage schedules including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensure activities occur on or ahead of schedule.
• Prepare and submit Superintendent’s Reports.
