Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent for the GovCloud project in the United States.

The on-site leader directs workflow, enforces safety and quality standards, and serves as the primary liaison among the project team, clients, and subcontractors. You will guide scheduling, resources, and site logistics, while maintaining daily documentation and ensuring adherence to project priorities and timelines.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
• 8–10 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, fast paced project experience all a plus.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices.
• Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
• Project lead experience preferred; Previous experience in a superintendent or project lead role preferred.
• Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam.

Responsibilities

• Understand and administer the HITT safety program for all subcontractors.
• Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project.
• Lead on-site safety and manage a safe jobsite for all involved.
• Maintain daily log of activities and site conditions, manage punch list and closeout.
• Collaborate with project manager on schedule and installation methods.
• Foster good relationships with subcontractors and community to support opportunities.
• Ensure complete, accurate daily documentation and manage change orders effectively.
• Organize the site team and resources, and identify long-lead items.
• Coordinate with project manager and site operations throughout the project life.
