Job summary

Beach City Builders Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to join our Escondido, CA team. You will support Project Managers by managing daily field operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction, hands-on trade knowledge, and proficiency with field software and mobile tools. OSHA 30 certification is a plus; strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

10+ years in construction with a strong background in both journeyman-level trade work and field supervision.
Proficient with modern tech tools (tablets, smartphones, construction field management and project documentation software).
OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
Clean DMV record required.
Strong written and verbal communication to keep PMs updated and subs accountable.
Punctual, detail-oriented, and ready for immediate deployment.

Responsibilities

Direct, coordinate, and oversee daily trade subcontractor work to ensure safety, quality, and project schedule adherence.
Maintain accurate daily logs using project software with site notes, weather, work progress, headcount, and photos.
Utilize mobile apps and project management software on-site for real-time reporting and admin tasks.
Provide regular updates to Project Managers regarding site conditions, progress, material deliveries, and manpower scheduling.
Leverage hands-on knowledge across core trades to enforce quality control and quickly resolve field issues.
Enforce compliance with OSHA standards and local building codes; ensure job safety plans.
