Job summary

Design Hire LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial and institutional building projects in Reno, NV. You will coordinate on-site activities, lead field crews, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule commitments.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years' superintendent experience with a commercial GC and Procore proficiency. Background in educational, municipal, or public works projects is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Procore experience required.
• Background in educational, municipal, institutional, public works, or similar commercial building projects strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, field supervision, and jobsite safety requirements.
• Experience managing renovations, additions, or new construction projects in active or operational facilities preferred.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules while coordinating multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite construction operations, directing subcontractors and field personnel to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Coordinate trade activities, material deliveries, site logistics, and construction sequencing to support efficient project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, address field challenges, and work with project management teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and construction issues.
• Maintain jobsite safety standards, conduct field inspections, and ensure work is performed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Lead coordination meetings, track project milestones, and support quality inspections, punch list completion, and project turnover.
