Job summary

BRPH, Atlanta office, is seeking a seasoned construction leader to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for complex structures and systems. You will oversee project organization, scheduling, budgeting, implementation, and completion across multiple markets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of progressive construction experience, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance, and collaboration with owners, designers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 7 years of relevant and progressive experience related to the duties listed above.

Responsibilities

• Lead site superintendents and ensure all aspects of the project are on schedule.
• Establish a strong safety culture at the construction job site. Monitor contractors, subcontractors and employees for adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with construction documents, building and safety codes, or other regulations.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Investigate damage, safety incidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
• Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
• Develop or implement quality control programs.
