Job summary

BRPH in Arlington, TX seeks a seasoned Construction Superintendent to plan and coordinate complex projects on-site. You will lead safety, manage subcontractors, and ensure schedule, budget, and quality goals are met throughout the construction lifecycle.

The role requires at least 5 years as a superintendent or a related bachelor’s degree with 3 years of progressive experience, and a proven ability to enforce safety standards while complying with codes and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Superintendent or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years related experience.
• Must promote safety and enforce safety protocols on site.
• Experience planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Establish a strong safety culture at the construction job site. Monitor contractors, subcontractors and employees for adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with construction documents, building and safety codes, or other regulations.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Investigate damage, safety incidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
• Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
• Develop or implement quality control programs.
