Job summary

MAAS is seeking a senior scheduler for the LACCD program, responsible for building and coordinating project schedules and reviewing contractor submissions against contract requirements. You will analyze changes, run time impact analyses, and participate in negotiations with management backing each position.

You will bring 10 years of scheduling on large construction programs, advanced Primavera, MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and experience with time impact analysis and construction

Qualifications

• 10 years of project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Advanced Primavera software proficiency.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Real experience with time impact analysis and construction claims.
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling practice.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and coordinate project schedules for the program.
• Review contractor schedules for contract compliance and quality.
• Evaluate change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule.
• Run time impact analysis on delays and participate in change order negotiations.
• Run critical path and earned value analysis.
• Identify and fix schedule problems early.
• Visit sites for progress reporting.
• Review contractor weekly and monthly progress and present findings to management.
• Review and evaluate contractor recovery schedules.
• Do cost analysis across design and construction and build cost loaded schedules for cash flow.
