Job summary

CMTS LLC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Scheduler V to lead complex capital construction scheduling across major projects. You will develop, baselines, master schedules, and cost-loaded plans, coordinating with cost, risk, design, and construction teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 15+ years in capital construction scheduling, strong Primavera and MS Office skills, and a proven ability to lead and collaborate across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field required.
• An additional four (4) years of qualifying experience may substitute for education.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of capital construction scheduling experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience developing and maintaining cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EVMS or similar processes.
• Strong cost engineering and CPM knowledge; schedule forensics understanding.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to foster collaboration across diverse project teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Program Controls leadership with planning, development, monitoring, and control of program-wide schedules.
• Develop and maintain baseline, master, and detailed project schedules with cost and resources.
• Coordinate with cost, risk, design, and construction teams to align schedule with program goals.
• Monitor progress and validate against baselines through reviews and site observations.
• Review contractor schedule submissions for compliance with baselines and procedures.
• Perform schedule QA/QC and analyze critical paths, constraints, and calendars.
• Conduct Time Impact Analysis and delay analysis to assess effects on milestones.
• Identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies; communicate with stakeholders.
• Lead onboarding and mentorship for schedulers; provide back-up coverage as needed.
• Prepare schedule performance reports and recovery actions.
