Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler for contract roles in Phoenix, Arizona. The candidate will lead corporate scheduling across major construction projects, establishing baselines, tracking progress and guiding teams on scheduling standards and forecasting.

The role requires deep knowledge of Primavera P6, experience with complex master schedules, and ability to drive recovery strategies while reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager with scheduling responsibilities.
• Experience managing and directing construction scheduling activities.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Experience with Asta and Last Planner System would be beneficial.
• Ability to develop and maintain bid, proposal and baseline schedules.
• Experience managing complex master schedules across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis, schedule updates and Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
• Ability to analyse schedule performance, identify variances and develop recovery strategies.
• Experience with project forecasting, progress reporting and historical performance analysis.
• Ability to provide scheduling guidance, training and support to project teams.
• Experience communicating programme performance to clients, project teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate scheduling function for major projects.
• Develop, maintain and manage project baselines and schedules.
• Oversee bid, proposal, and baseline schedules.
• Monitor variances and develop recovery strategies.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on scheduling.
• Forecast and report progress and performance to senior management.
• Communicate schedule performance to clients and stakeholders.
