Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Scheduler to join our commercial construction team. The role focuses on creating and maintaining master schedules across diverse project types while coordinating with project teams nationwide.

The ideal candidate brings 1–5 years of GC scheduling experience, strong Primavera skills (P6/OPC), Procore and BIM familiarity, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-5 years of scheduling experience with a General Contractor.
• Direct experience supporting data center construction, mission-critical, or highly technical commercial projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC); experience with Microsoft Project a plus.
• High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites nationwide and walk the job site as needed.
• Familiarity with Procore and BIM as they relate to sequencing and coordination is a plus.
• Internship or entry-level experience with a general contractor or construction manager is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules for active construction projects.
• Help develop schedule structure and layout before detailed scope-based development begins.
• Track milestones and compare actual progress to the plan.
• Coordinate sequencing, manpower timing, and major schedule milestones.
• Participate in internal scheduling meetings and keep schedule updates current.
• Prepare monthly schedule reporting and project-specific updates.
• Review subcontractor schedules for alignment with the overall project schedule.
• Assist superintendents with 3-week look-ahead schedules for field planning.
• Travel to job sites to monitor progress and understand sequencing in the field.
• Maintain organized records of schedule updates and performance data.
• Learn scheduling best practices and software while supporting multiple projects.
