Job summary

CBRE Directline, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, seeks a Safety Supervisor to lead accident prevention programs on construction projects. Focus areas include work-site inspections, training, safety meetings, and regulatory compliance across US sites. Proactive safety leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree or 5–7 years related experience.
• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• STS-C or above within 90 days of employment.
• Experience with union workforce desired.
• Ability to work independently, strong communication skills with ability to influence behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages administration of accident prevention efforts.
• Develop and facilitate training programs.
• Conduct work area assessments.
• Develop, organize, and implement safety programs that meet company standards.
• Perform and document jobsite inspections and audits focusing on hazards and unsafe behaviors.
• Coordinate and conduct safety meetings and training for effective communication.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and investigations to ensure compliance.
• Review job hazard analyses for major work phases and safety completion.
• Support Crew Foreman/General Foremen in development of Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluate program effectiveness via daily field walks and audits.
• Meet with field personnel to develop corrective action plans and provide feedback to leadership.
