Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety programs for healthcare construction projects across multiple campuses. You will ensure OSHA, TJC, EPA, and other standards are met, conduct investigations, and deliver trainings to project teams and contractors.

The role requires a Master’s in a safety-related field, 5+ years in construction safety, and strong leadership and communication skills to champion proactive risk mitigation across a large health

Formación

• Master's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety, healthcare compliance, or a related field required.
• Expertise in investigations, safety training delivery, and comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, TJC standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Preferred certifications include OSHA Outreach Instructor for general industry or construction and CHST/CSP credentials.
• Has regulatory compliance expertise to evaluate information and ensure construction activities meet safety standards.
• Strong investigative and analytical skills with ability to identify KPIs and drive improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for conveying safety protocols with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain comprehensive safety programs for construction activities.
• Lead and deliver targeted safety training sessions.
• Coordinate safety inspections and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and leadership to embed safety into all phases of construction.
