HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring OSHA compliance and best safety practices. The role focuses on fostering a culture where safety is a core value and every worker goes home safe.

Qualified candidates will have 7+ years of construction safety experience, a safety-related degree, and strong communication skills. Travel and a robust benefits package accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus.
• Advance knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Degree in safety related field preferred.
• CHST or CSP preferred.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
