Cape Fox, operating through Mountain Point, seeks a qualified Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO)/Site Safety Manager for projects across the Southern United States. The role involves developing and enforcing health and safety plans, risk assessment, and compliance with EM 385-1-1 on government contracts.

Qualifications

• Five years of continuous construction safety experience in supervising/managing safety programs or processes.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 requirements is essential.
• OSHA and safety training certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans per OSHA guidelines and EM 385-1-1.
• Ensure project compliance with 29 CFR 1926.16 and safety standards.
• Maintain safety logs, conduct inspections, and oversee corrective actions.
• Lead safety meetings, training, and employee indoctrination on site.
