Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is hiring a Safety Health & Environmental Manager in Fayetteville, GA. You will implement safety and loss prevention programs and ensure training for job-site employees and subcontractors on federal/state regulations to prevent accidents.

Responsibilities include coordinating safety trainings, conducting site audits, investigating incidents, and maintaining safety records; OSHA 30 is required, OSHA Outreach Trainer is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Safety & Environmental Health or Construction Management/Engineering.
• 5+ years of commercial construction safety experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate safety training and incentive programs.
• Maintain statistics on costs and safety frequency; track data.
• Perform accident investigations, including written reports.
• Review and assist superintendents with project safety plans.
• Maintain MSDS books and site safety records.
• Oversee safety training and ensure up-to-date first aid training.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Safety & Environmental Health or Construction Management/Engineering Degree
