Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Construction Safety Professional to support EHS programs across active construction and mission‑critical projects. You will partner with project leadership, contractors, and field personnel to promote a proactive safety culture, conduct worksite assessments, and oversee hazard mitigation and training.

The role requires 4–8 years of construction safety experience, a related degree preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct worksite safety inspections, assessments, and audits across active construction sites.
• Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and at‑risk behaviors; implement corrective actions.
• Support development and execution of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk mitigation plans.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, and root‑cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training programs for field personnel and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
• Provide coaching to project teams on safe work practices and safety program expectations.
• Maintain safety documentation and reporting in alignment with company standards.
• Collaborate with project leadership to integrate safety planning into daily operations.
