Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a US Construction Risk Program Manager to lead risk management across major US capital projects, including Boise facilities.

The role drives risk-informed decisions, supports execution, and provides executive insights into cost, schedule, safety, quality, and delivery. You will own the risk framework, perform quantitative analyses, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, safety, and operations to mitigate risks and report to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in construction project controls, construction management, or capital project risk management with formal risk program responsibility.
• Experience on large-scale capital construction projects valued at $1B+ in industrial/semi-conductor environments.
• Strong expertise in quantitative risk analysis including Monte Carlo schedule and cost simulations.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, schedules, OSHA standards, and AI tools such as Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the construction risk management framework (governance, risk identification, assessment, escalation, reporting).
• Own the program risk register and ensure risks are quantified, assigned, managed, and closed.
• Conduct quantitative schedule and cost risk analyses, Monte Carlo simulations, contingency planning and forecast development.
• Partner with project teams to develop/execute mitigation strategies for construction, supply chain, labor, contracts, and operations risks.
• Deliver executive-level risk reporting and support cross-functional risk reviews and decision making.
