Great American Loss Control seeks a Senior Loss Control Consultant to lead risk engineering efforts for large construction OCIP/CCIP opportunities. The role focuses on identifying exposures, guiding mitigation strategies, and coordinating with underwriting teams to secure profitable business.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in loss control or related construction risk fields, with experience with large contractors and projects, and is prepared to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as specified in the job requirements.
• At least 10 years of experience in loss control, risk management, or a related construction field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with large contractors and large construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads risk engineering calls with prospective insureds for large OCIP/CCIP opportunities and provides underwriting with risk assessments.
• Identifies potential risk exposures and develops strategic recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
• Interprets and analyzes loss data to identify root causes and determine sound loss prevention strategies for projects.
• Provides advanced technical construction guidance and conducts client training on safety practices and OSHA 1926 compliance.
• Monitors effectiveness of loss control measures and adjusts strategies to improve outcomes.
