Job summary

Great American Loss Control is seeking a Senior Loss Control Consultant for the large construction market, including OCIP and CCIP projects, to provide expert loss control services and conduct onsite surveys in support of profitable business.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in loss control or risk management within construction, with experience with large contractors and wrap-up projects; travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in construction or risk-related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in loss control or risk management within construction.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Leads risk engineering calls for large OCIP/CCIP opportunities and provides underwriting risk assessments.
• Identifies risk exposures and develops strategies to mitigate risks on construction projects.
• Analyzes loss data to identify root causes and recommends loss prevention measures.
• Provides advanced technical construction guidance and trains clients on safety practices and OSHA 1926 compliance.
• Monitors effectiveness of loss control measures and adjusts strategies as needed.
