Job summary

Great American Loss Control, a unit of Great American Insurance Group, seeks a Senior Loss Control Consultant for large construction OCIP/CCIP opportunities. You will lead risk assessments, provide technical guidance, and help clients implement effective loss prevention strategies on complex projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in construction management or related field, 10+ years in loss control/risk management, and is comfortable traveling up to 50% to support major construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in loss control, risk management, or related construction field.
• Experience with large contractors and OCIP/CCIP projects preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk engineering calls for large construction OCIP/CCIP opportunities.
• Identify potential risk exposures and develop mitigation strategies.
• Analyze loss data to identify root causes and improve loss prevention on projects.
• Provide advanced technical construction guidance and OSHA 1926 compliance training.
• Monitor effectiveness of loss control measures and adjust as needed.
