Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction rigging experience.
• Current NCCER or NCCCO certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiar with traffic control and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Determine and set up hoisting equipment to be moved by lift.
• Secure materials following safety protocol.
• Signal to operator where to place equipment and materials on site.
• Understand weight limits of chokers, shackles, pulleys, winches, blocks, sheaves, and cables; know crane signals and safety codes.
• Follow oral and written directions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Position requires long periods of walking or standing.
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects.
• Proof of certification required.
