Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across projects, coordinating plans, inspections and training. You will manage a team, Partner with project leaders, owners and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract documents and JE Dunn standards.

The role requires 8+ years in construction QA, strong leadership and communication skills, and willingness to travel as needed. On-site responsibilities and a focus on process improvements are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction quality-related experience
• 0-2 years mentoring or team leadership experience
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Willing to work non-traditional hours; may require extensive travel
• Knowledge of QA procedures for construction conditions

Responsibilities

• Creates Project Specific Quality Plans, assigns accountability for each task and updates the plan
• Creates Project Specific Water Intrusion Plan and updates regularly
• Ensures the Project Quality Status Report is completed prior to Monthly Project Review
• Participates in National Initiatives such as Quality Assurance Manual Updates
• Ensures Major Quality Issues are listed and updated on the Project Quality Status Report
• Manages and coordinates Quality support for a group (process and people)
• Provides updated communication about quality philosophies and standards to partners and project staff
• Interprets owner, government requirements in relation to quality construction methods
• Oversees project specific quality plan coordination
• Performs QA constructability reviews for assigned projects
• Plans quality-related training with internal and external partners
• Prepares reports detailing compliant and non-compliant conditions
• Conducts warranty-related investigations and recommends corrective actions
• Ensures field observations are documented and tracked for resolution
• Reviews and certifies submittals for accuracy
• Participates in meetings to drive quality improvements
• Serves as onsite quality representative on projects
• Evaluates subcontractor quality performance at project completion
• Develops relationships with clients and partners
• Maintains regular communication with project leads
• Provides mentorship to team members
