Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead on-site quality programs across one or more projects. You will develop and supervise project-specific QA plans, coordinate with field and office staff, and ensure alignment with contract documents and company policy.

The role requires strong QA expertise, 8+ years in construction quality and 0-2 years of mentoring or leadership experience. Responsibilities include planning, training, and continuous improvement of quality processes

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written (Intermediate).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate).
• Ability to conduct effective presentations (Intermediate).
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, building codes and other technical product data (Advanced).
• Knowledge of material and field testing for QA processes (Advanced).
• Knowledge of QA procedures for a variety of construction conditions.
• Ability to recognize non-compliant conditions and investigate corrective measures.
• Knowledge of construction trades and scopes of work (Intermediate).
• Ability to provide performance management feedback and complete evaluations.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Creates Project Specific Quality Plans, assigns accountability and ensures the Plan is updated.
• Creates Project Specific Water Intrusion Plan and updates plans as needed.
• Ensures the Project Quality Status Report is completed prior to the Monthly Project Review Meeting.
• Participates in creating National Initiatives such as Quality Assurance Manual Updates and Quality University.
• Ensures all Major Quality Issues are listed and up-to-date on the Project Quality Status Report.
• Manages and coordinates Quality support for a group (process and people).
• Provides updated communication about quality philosophies and standards to partners and project staff.
• Interprets requirements of owners, government and company in relation to quality methods and processes.
• Provides coordination and oversight to the project quality plan.
• Conducts QA constructability reviews for projects.
• Plans and designs quality-related training programs with internal staff and external partners.
• Uses QA systems to prepare reports detailing compliant and non-compliant conditions.
• Conducts warranty-related investigations and recommends corrective actions.
• Ensures field observations are documented and monitored for resolution.
• Reviews and certifies submittals for accuracy when required.
• Participates in meetings to promote quality and mitigate issues.
• Serves as onsite quality representative on projects as needed.
• Develops relationships with clients, partners, and consultants.
