Job summary

The Haskell Company seeks a Quality Assurance Lead for nationwide projects, including a Shreveport, LA site, with travel required.

You will monitor quality activities, ensure QIP compliance, participate in design reviews, and document inspections to guarantee long-term quality performance across design and construction phases.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in Civil/Structural/Mechanical disciplines, strong QA leadership, and readiness to travel extensively between project sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Civil, Structural, Architectural or Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing
• 0-3 years of data center experience
• High school diploma
• 2+ years of construction quality/inspection/testing experience
• Capability to analyze and interpret construction documents
• Leading preconstruction meetings to establish quality benchmarks
• Evaluating construction progress at milestones
• Collaborating with client QA teams and on-site inspectors
• Excellent written and verbal communication proficiency
• Meticulous attention to detail and follow-up
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Initiates QIP on every assigned project
• Conduces design quality kick-off and ensures reviews signed off at 30% and 100%
• Reviews geotechnical, concrete, and envelope reviews and reports
• Participates in independent testing lab selection and budget development
• Finalizes quality risks with mitigation plans
• Ensures all precon for QIP are conducted
• Ensures first work in place inspections are scheduled and conducted
• Documents deficiencies and monitors corrective actions
• Prepares and distributes QA reports and lessons learned
• Travels to project sites and coordinates with QA team for adherence to standards
