Job summary

gpac is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to join a top general contracting team in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on developing and enforcing QC procedures, documentation, inspections, and audits across federal projects when applicable.

The successful candidate brings 10+ years in construction, a related degree, and at least 5 years in QC, with thorough knowledge of quality standards and the ability to lead teams and coordinate with project managers to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Degree in construction or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Control role.
• Thorough knowledge of construction quality control processes and standards.
• Familiar with requirements of Federal project experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies
• Create and maintain documentation for quality inspections, audits, and reports
• Conduct regular quality control inspections on construction sites and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to identify and address quality control issues and provide effective solutions
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality control requirements
• Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures
• Conduct internal audits to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
