Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager for on-site work in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time, permanent role focused on leading quality control and safety programs across commercial projects.

You will oversee inspections, submittals, and coordination with project teams to ensure compliance with contract documents. The successful candidate will bring 5–7 years of commercial GC experience, proficiency with BlueBeam, Procore and LEED, and a solid understanding of safety practices.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of commercial general contracting experience required.
• Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager in construction.
• Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, inspections, and submittal management.
• Proficiency in BlueBeam, LEED, Procore, and project management software.
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage quality control and safety programs for all projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections for quality and safety compliance.
• Review and approve submittals and ensure contract document alignment.
• Utilize BlueBeam, LEED, Procore, and other PM software to track schedule and progress.
• Evaluate means and methods to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with managers, engineers, and team to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and present quality control reports and performance metrics.
