Job summary

RQ Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to support military and federal construction projects in San Diego County. The role is field-based with on-site work at various jobsites across the county, including Carlsbad office assignments.

Candidate will develop and enforce QC programs, manage inspections, and ensure compliance with contract specs, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors Certificate required
• LEED AP/Green certifications preferred
• EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30 certifications required; training can be provided
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet applications; Viewpoint/Vista experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and enforce project-specific quality control programs.
• Oversee QC documentation, inspections, and testing.
• Maintain compliance with contract requirements and project specs.
• Promote client satisfaction throughout construction.
• Travel or relocate to project sites as required.
