Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to run the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or USACE/NAVFAC work. You will write the project QC plan, lead three-phase meetings, and be accountable for all test results and nonconformances.

The role requires at least 6+ years in QC, 2+ years supervising inspectors, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• At least 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience with federal or industrial owner programs (USACE, NAVFAC, DOT).

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage.
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action process; present in QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications.
