Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of material/equipment purchasing experience in the construction industry.
• Past Purchasing Agent experience preferred.
• Experience assisting with Project Management or field leadership preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of procurement/vendor inspection techniques and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing activities of Project Managers including bulk buy-out and materials for fabrication shops.
• Develop and maintain tracking database for vendor stock quantities and rebates.
• Issue blanket purchase orders and assist with issuing purchase orders and invoice approvals.
• Coordinate material delivery arrangements and price changes for change orders.
• Build and maintain local and national vendor relationships and prepare vendor scorecards.
