Job summary

TekCom Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Construction Superintendent to lead multiple commercial building projects in Manassas, VA, from pre-construction through closeout.

The role requires 5+ years of project management in commercial construction, STSC and OSHA 510 certifications, and proficiency with Procore for documentation and controls. Strong leadership and client communication are essential, with site supervision background preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial building construction.
• STSC certification is required.
• Proficiency with Procore (RFIs, submittals, financial tools, scheduling, drawings, and reporting).
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget completion.
• Create, maintain, and track budgets, commitments, and cost-to-complete forecasts in Procore; manage contracts, change orders, PO's and invoicing.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors; lead meetings and distribute minutes via Procore.
• Serve as primary client contact; maintain project documentation in Procore (RFIs, submittals, drawings, logs, communications).
• Support daily field operations with the Construction Superintendent; monitor safety and quality; address issues.
• Lead project closeout activities including punch lists, warranty docs, O&M manuals, and owner handover in Procore.
