Job summary

Placements24 seeks a competent Project Manager to oversee construction projects in East London, Eastern Cape. You will manage planning, resources, contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards to deliver on time and within budget.

Requirements include a Civil/Construction degree, 7+ years of PM experience, budget and schedule control, and knowledge of building codes. East London/Eastern Cape experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and resources.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience working on projects in East London or Eastern Cape region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of construction projects from planning to close-out.
• Develop detailed plans, budgets, schedules and resource plans.
• Direct site operations and manage teams and subcontractors.
• Enforce HSE protocols on all project sites.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigations.
