Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in New York, NY is seeking a motivated Project Manager with 3–10 years of commercial design/build experience to oversee projects from concept to completion. You will manage estimating, scheduling, cost reporting, safety, and coordination with design professionals, owners, and subcontractors, while delivering value and maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field; GPA 3.2 or higher.
• 3–10 years of design/build experience.
• Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Ability to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish goals.
• Commitment to quality and meeting customer expectations.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety and proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with owners and design professionals early to facilitate design and develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Prepare accurate project estimates with the design team to review scope of work and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead proposal meetings with owners to discuss scope and value engineering ideas.
• Coordinate buyout and selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct bi-weekly on-site progress meetings with the construction team and owners.
• Ensure safety, quality control and schedule in coordination with the Superintendent.
