Job summary

Clark Construction in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Project Manager to direct day-to-day project management, create detailed project plans, and lead communications among stakeholders. You will manage risk, monitor progress, and drive safety on site, while guiding and developing the project team through all phases.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in construction, experience with large-scale or data center projects, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related work experience.
• 4+ years of construction experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience leading mission critical/data center projects preferred.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Strong understanding of contracts, permits, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate project meetings and maintain relationships with owners, engineering and design teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans with tasks, timelines, and resources.
• Drive a culture of safety on the project site.
• Support business development by participating in proposals and presentations.
• Identify, hire, and retain outstanding project staff and foster team development.
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports and oversee project close-out including turnover of manuals and warranties.
