Caddell Construction seeks a Project Manager – Commercial to oversee large-scale construction initiatives across the Commercial Business Unit. The role involves planning, directing, coordinating and budgeting activities, with travel to various domestic locations.

Responsibilities include cost control, resource management, scope assessment, and ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery. A strong leadership and communication background is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in the construction industry required.
• Four-year degree in engineering or construction management.
• Experience managing USG construction projects required.
• Shows leadership, concise execution of plans and strong communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage entire construction projects for the Commercial Business Unit.
• Control costs by coordinating and effectively utilizing resources.
• Assess scope of work and resources required to complete the project.
• Verify project estimates with drawings, specs, and contract docs.
• Supervise construction efforts to meet design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions and staff.
• Provide technical guidance on drawings and methods; review changes.
• Ensure safety, quality and productivity of subs and craft employees.
• Administer financial tracking and forecast remaining costs.
• Prepare complete plan of execution for projects.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.
• Enforce safety and health program on the project.
• Report to Construction Executive or Vice President.
