Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior project manager for site construction in Shelton, CT. You will serve as daily point of contact for the construction team and owners’ representatives, ensure contract requirements are implemented with manufacturing partners, and maintain ongoing communication to align with project schedule and budget.

Extensive leadership across multi-disciplinary teams and strict adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering, operations management or supply chain management
• Experience managing/geographically diverse remote and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong ability to read and interpret contract documents and specs
• Excellent written and verbal communication with delivery of effective presentations
• Proven project management skills with ability to handle concurrent complex projects

Responsibilities

• Establish productive relationships with site team, owners’ reps, and manufacturing partners; maintain alignment with project schedule and status
• Develop consensus for product delivery including budgets, emergent work, quality, safety, scheduling, installation and close-out
• Oversee manufacturing partners’ adherence to contracts, submittals, specs, and codes
• Align project processes with delivery schedule and site team
• Verify compliance with procedures to ensure quality, on-time, on-budget delivery
• Monitor adherence to Quality Control Program and coordinate reviews with vendors and stakeholders
• Maintain site presence to communicate needs and fulfill client expectations
• Resolve and accelerate issues for site team and stakeholders
• Present monthly project health reports including budget, staffing, schedule, and risk management
• Manage staffing levels for GC/GR compliance within the project financial structure
• Provide performance feedback and training to staff; participate in planning and lessons learned
• Lead or participate in activities to ensure safe project delivery
• Support other duties as assigned
